This is one of the best cases out there! The case just feels strong in your hand. It has a hard exterior and a soft interior. It is a one piece case that fits your iPhone perfectly. The exterior of the case is a smooth plastic, while the interior is a soft rubbery material. The volume buttons are also covered by the case. It has the soft rubbery material over them so you can still use your volume controls. All of the cut outs on the case a PERFECTLY aligned to the iPhone. I have used both the iPhone 3G and iPhone 4 version of this case.
